索尼互動娛樂（SIE）宣布，Polyphony Digital 製作，10 月 17 日推出至今全球累積遊玩時間超過 2600 萬小時的 PS4 真實駕車模擬器《跑車浪漫旅 競速（Gran Turismo Sport）》將於 11 月 27 日釋出 1.06 版更新，免費追加 3 台新車，部分模式開放離線遊玩，以及遊戲調整與最佳化。
此外，官方還公布了後續更新的計劃，供玩家參考。

11 月 27 日起遊戲將陸續追加新車輛與新賽道，首波將免費提供以下 3 台新車。

除了新車之外，本次更新後將開放，「賽道編輯器」、「Scapes 模式」和「活動模式」離線遊玩（必須連網才能保存進度）。同時還會進行一些遊戲調整和最佳化讓整體遊戲更加平衡。
GT League（2017 年 12 月）
12 月的免費更新將帶來全新的單人遊玩模式「GT League」。該模式是以之前系列作的「GT 模式」為基礎，玩家現在可以在初學者、專業車手等級的系列賽中競爭，或是參加耐力賽。
